Overview
Antimony pentoxide (CAS 1314-60-9 ), also known as antimonic oxide, is an inorganic compound used primarily as a flame retardant synergist in polymer and textile systems.
Unlike antimony trioxide, it is preferred in applications requiring a halogen-free or low-halogen approach, and in systems where coloration or surface compatibility is a concern.
