Pigment Violet 23 (CAS 6358-30-1 ), also known as PV23 and Permanent Violet RL, is a high-performance dioxazine organic pigment delivering intense reddish-violet to blue-violet shades across a broad range of industrial colorant systems.

Its exceptional tinting strength and heat stability make it a benchmark violet pigment for demanding manufacturing applications. In coatings and industrial paints, PV23 is used to achieve deep violet tones and as a bluing agent.

It is frequently utilized to neutralize yellowish casts in white and light-colored formulations. Plastic compounders incorporate it into polyolefins, PVC, and engineering resins where resistance to processing temperatures is a critical requirement.
