Gamma-terpinene (CAS 99-85-4 ), also known commercially as moslene or crithmene, is a naturally occurring monoterpene found in essential oils including thyme, cumin, and coriander.
It functions as both a flavoring agent and a solvent carrier across food, fragrance, and industrial applications. In food and beverage manufacturing, it is used as a FEMA 3559 -approved flavoring ingredient.
