Cyclamic acid (CAS 100-88-9 ), also known as E952 , is the free acid form of cyclamate. It is a synthetic, non-nutritive sweetener used in food and pharmaceutical formulations.

It delivers intense sweetness at low concentrations and functions as both a flavoring agent and acidulant. In food and beverage manufacturing, it is used to sweeten low-calorie and sugar-free products.
