Bispyribac

Bispyribac (CAS 125401-75-4 ) is a pyrimidinyloxybenzoic acid herbicide used in rice cultivation to control a broad spectrum of weeds. Bispyribac sodium, its commercially dominant salt form, is the active ingredient found in selective post-emergence herbicide formulations.

These formulations target grassy and broadleaf weeds in paddy fields. The primary use is selective weed control in transplanted and direct-seeded rice, where it inhibits acetolactate synthase (ALS) to suppress weeds such as barnyardgrass and sedges.
