Ureidopropyltriethoxysilane

Ureidopropyltriethoxysilane (CAS 23779-32-0 ), also known commercially as 3-Ureidopropyltriethoxysilane, is an organosilane coupling agent that bridges inorganic substrates and organic polymer matrices.

It improves adhesion at interfaces where standard silanes underperform, particularly with polar resins and moisture-exposed systems. In glass fiber-reinforced composites and filled plastics, it bonds mineral fillers.

This material is used with polyamide, epoxy, and polyurethane matrices, improving mechanical retention under humid conditions. Adhesive and sealant formulators use it as a primer or additive to enhance substrate adhesion.
